Zach Manntai

For the City

Zach Manntai is the Founder and Managing Director of For The City, a Calgary-based social impact consultancy and solution design studio. He has spent more than a decade leading social venture and community development projects spanning housing, youth mental health, placemaking, and social enterprise. Zach brings deep experience in strategy, facilitation, and organizational development, and is passionate about helping people and organizations align vision with action. His work centers on catalyzing collaboration across sectors, encouraging imaginative solutions, and building ecosystems where communities can flourish.

For The City is a social impact consultancy and solution design studio based in Calgary. We work with non-profits, social enterprises, and community associations to design and implement community-driven projects that strengthen belonging, resilience, and sustainability. Our work integrates strategic planning, placemaking, and social enterprise incubation, with a focus on equipping organizations to flourish. At its core, For The City exists to help communities thrive by mobilizing local assets, building collaborative networks, and creating systems of lasting change.
