Colby Delorme

As President of the Imagination Group of Companies, Colby Delorme has led ventures across construction, brand development, marketing, certification, franchise development, ceremonial tobacco manufacturing, and business consulting. Colby’s governance experience spans more than 20 years on not-for-profit and corporate boards, and he is recognized for championing mentorship, Indigenous leadership, and values-based organizational development. He is the co-founder and Chairperson of Influence Mentoring Society, a national initiative dedicated to strengthening the success of Indigenous post-secondary students through culturally grounded, two-way mentorship. A proud Métis entrepreneur and respected community leader, Colby brings more than 33 years of experience building businesses and advancing reconciliation through education, leadership, and economic opportunity. Colby holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and has received numerous honours, including the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal, the Calgary Top 40 Under 40, the Dr. Douglas Cardinal Award, and the 2025 Indspire Award for Business & Commerce. At the heart of his work is a commitment to creating pathways that support Indigenous learners, elevate Indigenous knowledge, and build sustainable opportunities for future generations.
