Elevated Escapes
Jenna is passionate about supporting local entrepreneurs. Through her role as a Social Business Coordinator with Be Local YYC, she assists and supports community-focused entrepreneurs in Calgary. Outside of her role at Be Local, Jenna is the co-founder and president of the Girls of Tomorrow (GOT) Foundation, a charitable organization that empowers Ugandan girls through education and entrepreneurship. For the past seven years, Jenna has led GOT’s five key programs: scholarship, entrepreneurship, solar energy, menstrual health and permaculture. Jenna also believes strongly in the power of for-profit social enterprises. Her glamping company Travel Purposefully Inc (operating as Elevated Escapes) was created to increase eco-tourism and help empower female and Indigenous entrepreneurs.
