Prior to that, Travis launched the Los Angeles Times website in 1996 and was editor of the Variety website from 2000 to 2004. Travis has taught online technology courses at multiple colleges and spoken at many seminars and conferences. Travis has been a board member at multiple large non-profit organizations, including OpenMedia.org and WFDF.sport.
