I am Metis Cree/French. I was born in Treaty 6 territory and now reside in Treaty 7 territory. I am a wife, a mother and a kokum. I am a life long learner.

I am also a Social Worker and currently enrolled in my Master of Social Work with a clinical

Specialization at the University of Calgary. My interest is in land-based and community healing Indigenously.  I am also a Kairos Blanket Exercise Facilitator with Kairos Canada.

Beading is medicine to me, as it was beading that helped me heal after experiencing grief and loss in my life. Our culture has so much medicine it can share.
