Lacey Chyz introduces people to different models of co-operation and helps bring democratic, local control to the forefront as a real solution to almost any challenge. She's an advisor to the Alberta Community and Co-operative Association (ACCA) working as a project lead for Community Capital Solutions Co-op which helps everyday people raise capital for local entrepreneurs who bring a social and economic return to their community. Lacey's a nerd for good governance and strategic collaboration. She serves on the Board of Lakeland Credit Union and Sangudo Opportunity Development Co-op. The City of Cold Lake embraces her as Chair of the Economic Development Advisory Committee and Community Grants Advisory Committee, for being a skilled facilitator who brings stakeholders together to navigate the political and economic environment and get things done.
