
Eva Verity
Social Innovation Hub
Eva Verity is a facilitator, producer, and grant writing consultant who has developed and led creative social innovation projects with local communities in more than 30 cities in Canada, the US, UK, Australia, Asia, and Europe. As Social Innovation Navigator for Innovate Calgary’s Social Innovation Hub she supports impact-oriented researchers, students, and founders’ access and engagement in the social innovation ecosystem, with a focus on improving existing systems and scaling best practices. From 2018-2024 she led Public Engagement & Community Projects for Esker Foundation contemporary art gallery where she also initiated new youth programming, including a mentorship and gallery space. From 2008-2019, she worked in a variety of capacities with Toronto-based social practice/performance company Mammalian Diving Reflex, including co-leading the organization as Director of Creative Production from 2013-2018. Eva has volunteered with SummerWorks Performance Festival, Myseum, ImagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival and the Art Gallery of Ontario. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History from York University.
