Dr. Allison Bichel

"I am the founder and CEO of EmergeCo a social venture dedicated to capacity building and collaborative action address complex challenges faced by individuals and society.  'EmergeCo builds capacity in public sector, non-profit organizations, foundations and government to face wicked challenges and pursue the most compelling opportunities for system transformation. It includes an online platform connecting those in need of supports with a wise network offering coaching, collective impact design, and consulting.

My career spans three decades with chapters in the private sector (health diagnostics), consulting (facilitation, project management, whole system engagement), and most recently a 10-year, eye opening experience as a health executive. I have an undergraduate degree in nursing; three master’s degrees in public health, business administration, and human development; and a doctorate in human and organizational systems.  I am captivated by complexity, the science and practice of change and innovation, and people’s capacity to grow and change. I am embarking on this new chapter wickedly curious about what is emerging given the profound need for social innovation."
