Dieulita Datus

Dieulita Datus

Ubuntu-Mobilizing Central Alberta

Born in Haiti, raised in The Bahamas, and proudly calling Central Alberta home since 2007, Dieulita Datus believes change happens when we dare to do things differently. She is a builder, a strategist, and a dreamer who refuses to accept that “the way it’s always been” is the way it has to be. Her passion lies in creating opportunities where others see obstacles, and she has made social enterprise her canvas for reimagining what’s possible. As a former child immigrant, she sees every opportunity as a way to give back.

For Dieulita, business is not just about profit, it’s about purpose. It’s about designing ventures that uplift communities, expand access, and open doors for people who are too often left standing outside. She thrives at the intersection of vision and action, where bold ideas are turned into real solutions that change lives.
Grounded in empathy and driven by possibility, Dieulita leads with the belief that innovation is most powerful when it serves people. Her work reminds us that the future doesn’t belong to those who play it safe, it  belongs to those willing to create, to challenge, and to believe in something better.
Outside of her work, Dieulita cheers loud for the Calgary Flames and unapologetically believes in unicorns, a reminder that imagination and wonder are just as essential to leadership as strategy and grit.
