Cara Taylor (she/her) is the founder of Oaks Mental Health and a passionate mental health educator with over a decade of social work experience in mobile crisis, inpatient psychiatry, and private practice. Alongside her professional background, Cara lives with mental illness and is a survivor of suicide loss—experiences that deeply inform her compassionate, person-centered approach. In her trainings, she creates spaces for meaningful conversations that reduce stigma, foster empathy, and encourage collective care. Her work blends clinical insight with lived experience, inviting others to approach mental health with curiosity, courage, and kindness.
