Randy Poon

I’m the Chief Story Officer and Founder of the Purpose and Performance Project, a consulting and coaching collaborative that helps leaders and organizations align purpose with impact. I love coming alongside business, nonprofit, and community leaders to explore what matters most and to strengthen the alignment between their vision and their way of being—how they show up each day.

I believe leadership is about presence, not perfection. We all drift at times, and the real work is learning how to return to center with clarity and courage. I draw on my background in narrative formation, mental fitness, and organizational development to help leaders and teams rediscover that center so their purpose comes alive in the way they lead, the culture they build, and the impact they make.

What excites me most is seeing purpose-driven leaders use their influence to make a difference that goes beyond the bottom line. I find deep joy in walking with people on their journey to impact, and I truly love what I do.

Outside of work, I enjoy life with my amazing wife, Kathy, along with our kids and grandkids. Family is central to me. I also love cooking and creating new flavors, which for me is another way of bringing people together and sharing life.
