Marnie Kubista

Susan Herman is the Executive Director of Radiance Family Society, a leader with over 20 years of experience in the Calgary area. She is passionate about seeing Calgary be an inclusive city that values quality of life for all. Throughout her career, on the frontlines and as a leader, she promotes sustainable solutions for vulnerable citizens and strengthens the social fabric of community. Susan began her career working with youth at risk in a contract agency and was quickly promoted to a leadership position where she spent time coordinating a community resource centre. From there she delved into providing leadership in the area of victim services where her path took her into poverty reduction and housing for vulnerable individuals and families. Susan has also spent time working in family mediation, forensic mental health, adoptions, and women’s health. While her path and experience is diverse, she enjoys understanding the linkages between different sectors and opportunities to support further integration and best practice in service delivery.
